Goodreads Synopsis
There’s
something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori. Mysterious and aloof, he
captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day
at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah . He’s the one bright spot in a place
where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and
security cameras watch every move. Even Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce –
he goes out of his way to make that very clear. But she can’t let it go. Drawn
to him like a moth to a flame, Luce has to find out what Daniel is so desperate
to keep secret...even if it kills her.
My Review
Fallen starts off
with a bang! The main character Lucinda Price is sent to a reform school,
Swords and Crosses, because she is suspected of murdering her boyfriend,
Trevor, who was burnt in a fire. As soon as I started reading this book I was
automatically sucked into the world of fallen angels. I couldn't put this book
down. It's filled with lots of action, romance, and thriller. What caught most
of my attention in this series was how the author beautifully described the
wings of the angels. The details were so vivid that it seemed like I had
sprouted wings. But enough about the book and lets get to the juicy details!
Every
romance book needs a hottie who swoops in to save the girl right? Well in this
series his name is Daniel Grigori and he is a fallen angel! He has the perfect
look, complete with the blonde hair, gray eyes with hints of violet specks and
a badass attitude. I mean what girl wouldn't fall for a guy like that right?
However, looks aren't what attracts Lucinda to Daniel, it's the deep,
star-crossed, forbidden love that keeps bringing these two souls together from
one lifetime to another. What would you do if you are reunited with your love
over and over again, but torn apart before you get a chance to be together?
Lucinda and Daniel fight for their love, their lives and their friends in this
thrilling series that will leave you wanting for more.
