Goodreads Synopsis:
Fate isn’t something to mess with… and now, neither is Alex.

Alex has always feared two things: losing herself in the Awakening and being placed on the Elixir. But love has always been stronger than Fate, and Aiden St. Delphi is willing to make war on the gods—and Alex herself—to bring her back.

The gods have killed thousands and could destroy entire cities in their quest to stop Seth from taking Alex’s power and becoming the all-powerful God Killer. But breaking Alex’s connection to Seth isn’t the only problem. There are a few pesky little loopholes in the whole “an Apollyon can’t be killed” theory, and the only person who might know how to stop the destruction has been dead for centuries.

Finding their way past the barriers that guard the Underworld, searching for one soul among countless millions, and then somehow returning will be hard enough. Alex might be able to keep Seth from becoming the God Killer… or she might become the God Killer herself.

My Review:
So you know when I said that Deity was the best book I have read in this series, well now I'm taking that back because APOLLYON, Oh My Gods just pushed Deity at the bottom of that list!

The Last thing I read in Deity was this and then the book ended.....

"The First - my whole purpose for existing. Mine. My other half. He was here, waiting. Already inside me, seeing what I was seeing, whispering to me, promising me that he was coming. Seth. Mine.
And they all were going to die.
I smiled."

I reread that phrase a bazillion times and this is how I felt.....

Okay, on to the review. Hopefully, I can contain myself while I try to write a some what coherent review. First, let me say, Armentrout has done it again. I don't know how she does it, but her books are so freaken good! Amazing plot, breathtaking covers, swoon worthy characters, kick-ass leads, and a fast pace to keep the reader turning pages. I loved every dang minute of this book! She is the kind of author that can grab your heart with every word and rip it out with an unbelievable ending that makes you wanna ....well this:

Aiden: ............. OH. MY. GODS. HOLY HOT DANG DAIMON BUTT! YOU ARE THE HOTTEST SENTINEL ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wanna say, you are amazing, I love you and you are everything I want in a book boyfriend!!!! Aiden was unbelievable. He did not disappoint. He was always there for Alex, when ever she needed him. He came in strong and hard with the power of a thousand suns! Aiden is the type of guy who believes that Pure's and Half-bloods should be equals and that's why Alex and Aiden make the perfect couple. He understands Alex and loves her more than anything in this world! *HUGE SWOOOON* #Team Aiden for life!!!!!! ( Seth, you can go to hell!)

Alex:  I loved how Alex has turned into a very mature young lady in this book. It was interesting to see her transformation from her bitch fits to someone who could lead an army. She has come a long way, but I still loved her ability to stand up for what she wants and kick ass when needed. Being the Apollyon isn't an easy thing. She must accept her fate and fight against it at the same time to save the world.

Seth: YOU EVIL BASTARD!!!!! I had so much hope that he would do the right thing and be there for Alex as a friend should. But nooooooo he had to be evil! I had come to love his chill, loving ways but now I'm just S.M.H.

Apollo: Ahhhhhhhh! Apollo why you so funny? He is so hilarious in this book! There are numerous moments when he randomly shows up when Alex and Aiden are about to kiss or get intimate. He just pops in like "No. I'm more important than you guys!" But he is always there for Alex and always has her back! Plus he has a little something-something going on with Aiden's brother! *wink wink*

“You two should really get a room," Apollo said from out of nowhere.

"My poor eyes..."
I groaned. Even in his true identity, he still had impeccable timing.
"Gods," Aiden spat. He pulled back, casting Apollo a disgusted look over my head. "Do you get off on sneaking up on us?"
"You probably don't want to know what I get off on.”

Overall: A very good book in this amazing series! I truly enjoyed every minute and If you haven't read this then you are crazy! Just drop everything and go read this series! Apollyon has many unexpected events and it just makes the book even more better. Alex will join with unexpected alliances and be deceived  by unexpected characters. A very emotional roller coaster ride that will leave you  extremely satisfied!
