Goodreads Synopsis:
Chloe Saunders is on the run
and raising hell. Literally.
Chloe Saunders is
not your average supernatural teenager. Genetically altered at birth by a
sinister team of scientists, she can barely control her terrifying powers. Now
the team that created her has decided it's time to end the experiment.
Permanently.
Now Chloe is
running for her life along with a charming sorcerer, a troubled werewolf and a
temperamental young witch. Together they have a chance for freedom - but can
Chloe trust her new friends?
My Review:
I can't believe this, but I'M
IN LOVE WITH A TEENAGE WOLF!!!!!!!
The second installment in
this series is just as engaging as the first. More creepy action, suspenseful
drama, and more DEREK! I want to yell at Chloe and make her realize he is
amazing and he wants her! Although I will say this, there are a lot of Derek
and Chloe scenes so that makes me really happy!
For those of you who haven't
read this series yet, I suggest you stop, drop and roll into a book store right
now and buy this book! Chloe has finally figured out that she is a necromancer.
At first she believed she was a Schizo, but it was discovered at the House that
her powers were to be harnessed and used for evil. Now on the run, Chloe and
the gang are trying to keep themselves safe while figuring out who to trust. We
have the sarcastic rich girl, Tori, a very sweet gentleman Simon, the authority
figure and leader, Derek, and finally the sweet naive Chloe.
For this gang, on the run means they can't trust
no one except themselves. Their parents sold them out, they have no friends,
and the people they think they can trust don't have the best intentions. Everyday
goes by in fear of their lives and learning shocking secrets about their
abilities. Armstrong created an interesting world filled with lies, deception,
betrayals, secrets and emotional trauma. This is an epic series to read if
you're looking for something creepy, yet entertaining.
