            Suze is a mediator -- a liaison between the living and the dead. In other words, she sees dead people. My review:

            Meg Cabot is one of my absolute favorite authors! So of course this book is one of my favorites! It's about a young girl who can see ghosts. And she is called a mediator, someone who can communicate with dead people. So when she moves into a new town she discovers that there is someone living in her room. Suze has been trying to get away from her ghost problems, but even moving to a different place doesn't change that. Ghosts keep finding her and when she realizes that the ghost living in her room doesn't want her help she is relieved. That's one less ghost to worry about. But he is one hell of a sexy ghost! His name is Jesse and he has been haunting Suze's house for many years. He won't tell her who he is and why he is still in the world of the living. As Suze gets comfortable in her new home she starts having trouble at school. There is a female ghost at school who is causing hell for the students. It's up to Suze to figure out what is going on with this female ghost and get her to move on.

            Suze is one hell of a character. I totally loved her. She is smart, determined and she can kick some nasty ghost butts! Her character has a lot to deal with but with the help of the sexy ghost in her bedroom she is able to figure out a solution to her problems. Speaking of this sexy ghost...he is smart, funny, has a cute Spanish accent and did I mention hot. Jesse is much older than Suze but he fits well in with her character. I love they way they talk to each other. He is from the past so he is a true gentleman with a heart of gold. Jesse is always sweet to Suze and looks after her if she's ever in danger. This first installment in The Mediator series will leave you want for more. It is very fast paced with lots of interesting plot twists.

P.S. I read this series way back in 2004 so I just found out THERE WILL BE A 7TH INSTALLMENT IN THIS SERIES! OMG! OMG! OMG!!! I'M HYPERVENTILATING RIGHT NOW! MEG CABOT ANNOUNCED SHE IS WORKING ON THE 7TH BOOK BUT IT HASN'T HAD A PUBLICATION DATE YET!! I'M SOOOO EXCITED!
