Goodreads Synopsis:
A love that knows no bounds.
Abbey knows that
Caspian is her destiny. Theirs is a bond that transcends even death. But as
Abbey finally learns the full truth about the dark fate that links her to
Caspian and ties them both to the town of Sleepy
Hollow , she suddenly has some very hard choices to
make. Caspian may be the love of her life, but is that love worth dying for?
Beautifully spun,
emotionally gripping, and irresistibly romantic, The Hidden will leave you
breathless.
My Review:
Abby
and Caspian are finally together. We now know that Caspian is a ghost and Abby
wasn't just imagining him. They have been spending lots of time together and
getting a chance to get to know each other. Everything seems all fine and dandy
until three creepy teens start following Abby around. Everywhere she goes she
sees them. And when Abby tries to tell Caspian he shrugs it off as her
imagination and disappears. But when things start to get weird and the three
teens show up at her house, Abby has had enough. She confronts Caspian and
finds out secrets that she didn't know about him. Caspian has been hiding
secrets from her and Abby will do anything to figure out what the are.
The
ending took me by surprise. I'm not sure how I feel with what happened but it
was something new. The characters were well developed, the pacing was good, and
the story line was intriguing enough to keep the reader entertained. I really
liked how the author incorporated the legend of Sleepy Hollow, which made this
story creepy and interesting at the same time. If you have read this yet, I
recommend you do cause it won't disappoint.
