Willow knows she's different from other girls. And not just because she loves tinkering around with cars.
Willow has a gift. She can look into people's futures, know their dreams, their hopes and their regrets, just by touching them. But she has no idea where she gets this power from.

Until she meets Alex…

The dark forces within Willow make her dangerous – and irresistible.

My Review:
After reading Hush Hush and Fallen I didn't think there would be any other good angel books. I was very hesitant in picking this one up because it featured a girl as being an angel. Yeh Yeh I know I was being sexist. But I'm truly glad I read this book. Though I liked Hush Hush and somewhat liked Fallen, I was totally blown away by Angel Burn. This book isn't about your typical fallen angel who falls in love and has to save the day. What was so unusual about this book was that it takes the whole notion of angels as kindly guardians and turns it upside down. Angles want something from humans and they will do ANYTHING to get it. Even if that means taking lives of innocent people. Say what now!!!!? But I thought angels were our guardians! Weatherly was very creative in creating this unique world of angels with Willow being smack dab in the middle of the battle field.
Willow is a clairvoyant who sees glimpses of the future for anyone she touches, and is horrified by what she sees during a vision reading for one of her classmates. In the meantime, alternate chapters follow a mysteriously sexy assassin named Alex, who at first, sees Willow as his nemesis, but gradually comes to terms with her and helps her uncover dangerous secrets about her past---and about her future.
Alex and Willow are fantastic characters who make mature decisions and do their best in the most impossible situations. As a team they become stronger and more appealing to each other. Throughout most of the book they are on the run and have to learn to depend on each other. Willow and Alex are deeply connect with each other, funny and honest even though they both have reasons not to be. It was refreshing to read about a boy and girl who are nice to each other even when they maybe enemies.
